The riveting original feature film “The Pirates Of Somalia,” edited by Cut+Run’s Jay Nelson and written and directed by Hungry Man’s Bryan Buckley, releases in theaters and iTunes today – Friday, December 8. The film recounts a true story of daring Canadian journalist Jay Bahadur (Evan Peters) who treks to Somalia in an effort to shine an unprecedented global light on the lives of Somali people and their plight, soon to find himself in the hotbed of Somali pirate culture. The film stars Academy Award-winner Al Pacino and Oscar nominees Barkhad Abdi and Melanie Griffith.
