A series of four films, “Life With Cancer” considers the insight that 85% of people with cancer don’t want to be defined by the disease. Ben’s careful, quick-fire cuts juxtapose the traumas of cancer treatment with moments of respite found in familiar relationships; those shared with family, friends and lovers. The effect is often unsettling but honest and affecting throughout – four deeply human pieces of storytelling showing that life with a terminal diagnosis is still life.
