Dave Gahan and co. play the dictator in Depeche Mode’s militaristic, minimal and regimentally arranged video for “Where’s the Revolution,” directed by music video auteur Anton Corbijn. The predominantly black and white, industrial-set promo is heavy with authoritarian pantomime and an aesthetic perfectly matched to the track’s bleak, bitter sense of humour. The video is edited by Cut+Run’s James Rose, with grade and VFX by Jogger London.
